RPRC 2025 Match Description
All RPRC range rules will be adhered to. Mandatory safety talk begins at 9:45 AM.
Rifle – Modified Military Position
This match is counted toward the rifle and club championships.
RANGE:
100-yard range.
TARGETS:
NRA Official 100 Yard Military Type Target SR-1
GUNS:
Any Centerfire (CF) Rifle
NO RELEASE TRIGGERS
SIGHTS:
Any open sights, aim point (red dot), or scope, no light projecting (laser) type.
RESTS:
Slings are permitted, no supporting rifle directly on the ground with other than a part of the body, no shooting jacket.
COURSE OF FIRE:
Safe rifles will not be loaded until in shooting position after command.
(10) minute unlimited sight-in. any target, removed after sight in
(10) shots in (10) minutes prone at bullseye.
(10) shots in (10) minutes sitting/kneeling at bullseye.
(10) shots in (10) minutes standing at bullseye
Ring value will be the score for shots. Shots on-the-line will score higher ring value.
Best scoring shot will be eliminated from score for any shot made after time ends.
Total score for all (3) stages will be match score. Ties will be broken by the number of “x”s and then by a shoot-off.
