Membership

Membership in the Club is open to all legal residents of the United States 18 years or older with a satisfactory Virginia State criminal records check, and election by majority vote at a regular club meeting. Membership is conferred without regard to race, sex, religion, or country of origin. Members are also required to join and to maintain membership in the National Rifle Association (NRA).  Prospective members need to complete the appropriate application forms and pay the required fees, AND attend three Club events, before being voted in.  There is also a Youth Membership for those between the ages of 12 and 17.

Annual dues are as established by the club's executive board, currently (2011)  $100 per year, payable the first of every calendar year. In addition, there is a one-time initiation fee of currently (2011) $300, but this is waived for spouses of members.

The Club holds a general membership business and social meeting on the second Tuesday of each month EXCEPT November, at the Hills Quarter Community Center.  Attendance at Club meetings is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged.  The Club holds an annual dinner/meeting in November at a local restaurant.

Election of officers is held annually in February. All members in good standing are eligible to vote and to run for office.

Members may bring up to three guests to the range, but they are solely responsible for them and MUST remain with the guests at all times.
