NRA SHORT COURSE 

TARGETS: NRA B-16 for Slow Fire & NRA B-8 for Timed and Rapid Fire

 EQUIPMENT:

    GUNS; Any Centerfire pistol, 45 caliber or smaller AND any Rimfire Pistol

    SIGHTS; Any sights, except sights projecting an image on the target (Lasers) are prohibited.      Also, any sighting device that is programmed to activate the firing mechanism is prohibited.

 COURSE OF FIRE:

The course is broken into two (2) matches, the first is with a Rimfire pistol and then the course is repeated using a Centerfire pistol.  Targets placed at 25 yards.  ALL COURSES ARE ONE HANDED AND NO SUPPORTS ALLOWED.

 Match 1: RIMFIRE PISTOL , 30 Shots

            Stage 1 – Slow fire, 10 shots in 10 minutes on the B-16 target.

            Stage 2 – Timed fire, 2 strings of 5 shots each.  Time limit is 20 seconds for each string on the B-8 target.

            Stage 3 – Rapid fire, 2 strings of 5 shots each.  Time limit is 10 seconds for each string on the B-8 target.

 Match 2: Centerfire Pistol, 30 shots

            Same course of fire as Match 1, except using a centerfire pistol.
